Based on the Hockey Canada Skills guide, the tryout drills are again designed to display the players basic skills. The goaltenders will be evaluated throughout the sessions, based on their performance during the drills. A number of goalies will be selected from the tryout drills to participate in the Tryout Scrimmages. From the scrimmage games, the evaluators and coaches will create a list from which the players will be drafted.
Players will be explained the drills on the ice, and should get a trial run before timing starts.
